2017 Seoul Democracy Forum

Civil Revolution and New Democracy – Challenges and Tasks

Since 2009, Seoul Democracy Forum has served as an open learning ground for all the people who support and work for democracy locally and internationally. Many scholars and civil society activists from Asia and all over the world interacted and discussed global issues on democracy and shared their ideas to foster the growth of the world’s democracy every other year. This year, we will focus more on providing an open networking opportunity to Korean civil society activists and general public to learn and get inspired from each other as partners with like-minded experts and activists from Asia and all over the world. Commemorating the 30th anniversary of the June 10 Uprising, 2017 SDF will be held under the theme of Civil Revolution and New Democracy – Challenges and Tasks.
